Accurate sysadmin look
the mauling bear are the user complaints and trolls.
The mauling bear swinging a human body around like a rag doll is when the instance suddenly and unexpectedly goes offline because of a major system crash.
Or as I like to call it, "an unexpected unpaid work in my free time."
