It's a shame that more and more people seem to be okay with using slurs nowadays. You'd think people would know better by now, at least on places like Lemmy…
Edit: I have been enlightened further below and retract this comment
Edit_2.txt: Thanks for the enlightenment, kind stranger
Edit 3: I'd like to clarify none of this was serious. Except for this edit, #3, in which I break character to reveal the whole bit
Treating "clanker" like an actual slur is ridiculous. It's a computer program. It doesn't have feelings. It cannot be offended. It cannot be hurt. It has not suffered discrimination. Who exactly is hurt by the use of the word?
The fact that youse folks are so quick to use a slur when you find it "approprate" is disgusting. Seems like y'all just wanns say the n-word so badly and the only thing keeping you from doing so is 500 Internal Server Error
Do you even know what a slur is? It's not just any derogatory word.
Enlighten me
What, too lazy to use a dictionary?
I could look it up on Wikipedia, as a trusted source of information. However, I have since been enlightened as to the misguided nature of my comment, and as such retract my opinion.
