Context?
In WW1 and WW2, the British and Germans were at war. Any German spy in a British camp would have to be careful to not use any common, especially 'automatic', German phrases when out and about.
This meme makes fun of that idea a bit both by the common English usage of the German term 'Gesundheit' after someone sneezes, and labeling 'the British camp' over a bunch of German troops, and 'The guy who said Gesundheit' as an American officer played by a British actor.
I get it thanks!
