C'était le dernier vétérinaire de Gaza, il travaillait avec l'association Sulala. Il avait été tué par un bombardement le 10 oct, mais son corps n'a été retrouvé qu'il y a 3 jours.
Il donnait son temps et ses compétences sans compter, pour les animaux.

As the lead veterinarian for Sulala Animal Rescue, a Gaza-based animal welfare organisation, Mu’ath dedicated his life to saving countless animals in Gaza. He was also performing surgeries on animals amidst the horrors of the Israeli genocide.

“He was a shining example of kindness and generosity, carrying a message of compassion for both animals and humans alike,” Sulala Animal Rescue said in a statement mourning his death.

@vega @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com C'est extrêmement tragique, mais il n'était pas le seul vétérinaire de Gaza, ou même du nord de Gaza. Sulala vient d'engager Dr. Hussam.

@ sulalaanimalrescue on Insta: Hello everyone, we want to repeat: Dr. Mu’ath was irreplaceable in many ways, but he was not the last veterinarian in Gaza — in the north or elsewhere. There are still other vets here, and we are currently holding meetings to reach an agreement for them to work with us on a fixed basis. Another vet has already performed surgery and provided medical care at our medical point. The care for animals will continue without interruption.
