I'll tell you what makes me feel old:

When I was a kid in the 70s, everybody was talking about the year 2000, and I kept thinking "That like in 25 years, it's like a quarter century. It's like in forever!"

2000 was 25 years ago, and it feels like half a century went by in the blink of an eye.

Things had "2000" in their names to make them sound cool or futuristic, like Video 2000 or Windows 2000.

At a thrift store this past weekend I saw a pristine copy of Windows 98 for dummies. We are closer to 2015 than 2015 is to when that book was printed.

Didn't see a disc or a pocket for one. Don't remember the for dummies books having the things they were written for included.
