because i think we should be. they're huge and pretty rad.

edit:

ok. we ARE federated, but not fully, i guess. so if someone would subscribe to all their communities, we'd see everything on their server.

i guess we just need more folx to start using this instance to push the federation deeper. of course, that's gonna mean higher server costs....

A local user needs to engage with a remote community for it to federate with this instance. Can you imagine if we federated with everything by default? It'd require a whole datacenter to handle...

It does make discoverability a little bad but that's the tradeoff.

wierd. i can find some content, but the federation seems spotty. the yptb comm exists, but hardly anything has populated from it.

If you’re willing to do it, I guess the best way would be to make an account and subscribe to all of their communities
