First fossil evidence of the fig tree is from about 20M years ago. Conodonts went extinct about 200M years ago.

When I was a kid, I saw a short clip of a show about which I knew - and know - basically nothing. In it, the (presumed) protagonist is interacting with an insouciant genie styling itself as a goth woman. He wishes for the return of his (violently, I think?) dead friend, which is granted, but his friend is just angrily glaring at him. He then wishes for his friend to be able to speak, to communicate. The genie warns him that he doesn't want that, but he insists. The wish granted, the friend simply starts screaming.

I've wondered for years what that show was, as it seemed interesting; but also, the response in this screenshot reminds me of that scenario.

this is an X-files episode. The friend was killed shortly before because he got run over by a car after he had the genie turn him invisible.

Amazing. I thought it was a whole show about a bumbling guy and a genie. I can't even remember anyone in my house ever watching X-Files. Thanks!

This was one of the more stand alone episodes, and while I didn't really watch the series a lot, I really liked these stories, which were a lot more silly and light hearted.

It kind of sounds way more like Supernatural than I realized, TBH.

He learns that the man in the picture was extremely wealthy and lucky for a short period, before he died with a giant oversized penis

That looks like something Will Wright’s Spore autogenerated.
