Yeah that was always the dumbest "trick" to pop up every couple weeks on reddit to then also have the top quote be, "it only works with easy numbers though."
Well, yeah, dividing something by 0.5 is the same thing as multiplying it by 2…
0.25^0.5^=0.5
Thanks I'm not going to sleep for the next 34 months and I think I should meditate 2 hours a minute to find out how this works

I figured out why this is the case but only after I checked it on a calculator.
