In other news I think someone is brigading me cuz I was talking about nuclear fission power needing to be considered an option and not just discarded out of fear and now every single one of my comments from like the past day has a downvote on it, lol.
To be clear; there are very good arguments against nuclear fission power. But most of the ones people use aren't.
Growing pains I suppose. A few weeks ago someone said the same thing on !support@lemmy.world (different political issue).

Brentford away is a really poor draw in the Carabao cup. They're a tricky opponent, so will actually be a test. Plus they're a London team with a fairly small stadium, so I won't have enough away credits to get a ticket.
Good news is, Raya can play apparently. They're gonna be a problem though.

Outgoings yea, incomings is what I'm thinking about. I doubt the likes of Cedric would be happy completely not playing for a few months. I think Holding will head to Spain, we'll sort something out for Lokonga, Tavares will officially leave, and Pepe will take a few more days. Cedric is anyone's guess cuz I've not heard anyone interested. Okonkwo I hope gets one for his sake, and Elneny will stay. That's what I think at least.
I won't get to know until it's almost over cuz of my flight though 😅 heading to the airport rn

Maguire basically doesn't play for a season under Ten Hag and still is first name to get called up for England.
To be fair I get why he gets a call up, I just don't think he deserves it over some other people. Like if I were Southgate and the rumours regarding Ben White were true, I'd rather call Maguire up than White, especially with what he's trying to do with the culture of the national team. I just hope he doesn't play.

I was getting this from Insta, which just reposts all of his tweets, so it's very possible that just wasn't reflected there. But 1 + 12M would still be disappointing for him at the end, so I hope he really impresses and gets at least 20M.
I mean, I feel like 16M total isn't that bad if he reaches it. Sure it's not the best but it's a decent profit for a player who is simply not our level after the past season of crazy growth
