The TL;DW is the proposed Trump tariffs would jack up the rates of PC components and they likely won't come down quickly.

As Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are happening right now, I was thinking about this myself already. It is highly tempting to take the hit and buy those new parts! But also, I don't play games as much as I used to and my budget rig going on ~5 years still handles most games at minimum above 30fps. I think what I will likely do is keep an eye on used 5000 series Ryzen as I'm already on AM4 and a 2000-3000 series RTX to see if anyone is selling off their old stock after Black Friday. As good as new? No, but it should tide me over for another 4 years easily.
