the only safe spots are those without religion. there is no alternative. we must cull the grasp of religion on humans as we have other barbaric practices if we are to move past this violence and hate.

We would just find another reason to hate. The problem is people and power not necessarily religion.
If cancer was cured tomorrow, people would still eventually die, but I would rather live in a world without cancer than with.

Why is gutting religion the only solution? Most of humanity is religious so that seems like a really fucking stupid hill to die on when climate change is a problem we all should be preparing for. Maybe we should focus on what we have in common and build the need to collectivize from there.
The amount of people raped, beaten, and murdered in the name of religion is unfathomable. That's why. We should absolutely deal with climate change AND get rid of all religions.
I don't know why you don't think they are related nor do I see why you think we can't work on more than one problem at once. Also if you want to talk about the lack of unity you might not want to mention religion.

Religion is not based in fact.
We need solutions based on facts if we are going to handle the problems our species faces.
there is no peace without it. you think traditional mulims will not oppose trans rights movement? there is no coexistance with people following religious rules.

Most religions I am aware of do not give you permission to hate in the text. Hate is a sin in Abrahamism and depending on whom it is directed at can be incredibly serious if you believe.

Nowhere does it say he was Christian, he was just an old man in the woods. If the religions no longer believe it, it should be removed. Otherwise it's used for hate.

Depending on the country 80 years ago to the present. These are the people making cheap consumer electronics and other products where it still costs more to automate than to pay someone to assemble eg travel sewing kits, first aid kits etc.
This isn't romanticizing poverty this is how every industrialized nation has developed their economy. What I see India doing is by no means unique to India and is in fact what everyone did.
At no point have I endorsed poverty. It is remarkably ignorant to think a nation if 1 billion people will all have service jobs. You need people doing manufacturing as well and this is the sector that is absolutely the most likely area to develop given that many Indians do not currently have the education to hold service jobs.
