The first completed copper pieces I have ever done. I move around through mediums a lot because I get bored. I've never really worked with metal but it seemed like fun and I had some old copper pipe and wire. Now I am gathering up more for future projects.

One of these pieces actually sold about a day after I finished. My first ever art sale. Mostly I make art for myself.

Very pretty, this is something you'd see in a cool person's house/office

This is probably the nicest compliment I have ever gotten on my art. Thank you.

That was my thought too!

Out of curiosity, how much did it sell for? I can see something like this going for a lot

I am just starting my journey into selling the things I make and so honestly exposure is more valuable to me than selling for a lot. The first one sold for $300 Canadian plus shipping. That's about 210 freedom eagles. I've never taken an art class or shown my work anywhere and only recently on social media.

Love these!! Jellyfish are a fav of mine! I would have loved to have one!

There are two still available. The center one is sold. I'm happy to discuss prices and shipping.

I appreciate it, but I’m going to move soon and I won’t be able to take it with me, but maybe someone else will see this and you’ll get some offers.

Cool! That top-right one has a great sense of movement in it.

Very cool ... neat work and very imaginative .... I keep collecting scrap copper wire all the time from my work renovating and fixing things and often imagined doing stuff like this.

It's pretty fun I gotta say. So many different things to do.

wow this is some cool stuff I'd definitely love to afford if shippable

Very interesting concept and pieces, I love them!

[–] Perhapsjustsniffit@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

I'm happy to chat about it. I am in Canada so depending on where you live I'm not sure what shipping would be. I believe I can make individual boxes to ship them without damage.

There has been much interest in purchase so here are the details...

I just got word they are accepted to a show so they will be available through the gallery starting Jan. 24th. They will sell for a set price of $175 Canadian each. The gallery is Argyle fine Art in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada the show is called Preshrunk. You can contact the gallery in advance of the show to reserve the item you want.

You can find more photos and video on Facebook, insta and tictok @bigfatzeroart. I'm not sure how to add pics to comments here.

Thank you for your interest.

Could we get closeups on all three?

Also, I see a lot of people are asking about them, maybe you could include a link to your site or something?

Really cool pieces too btw 😁

I looked at the title and then looked the picture expecting something squishy and was very confused. But then it clicked and wow! Fantastic work, I love all the tendrils and the motion you’ve captured.

Nice!

Hello to the loud seal that middle jelly is resting on :)

If you flip it and look from the back it's a whale!

[–] brbposting@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Immediately see that. Nice!
