Once at a Phish show, I consumed a rather copious amount of 🍄’s while hanging w/ mah friends beforehand. For some reason I couldn’t get the image of Plastic Man (Comic cartoon on Saturday mornings in the early 80’s) Out of my head. Every fucking song from that show I processed through the Plastic Man perspective. I was done with that memory before my brain would allow me to forget it. It was a loooonnnggg show b/c 🍄’s.
This story seems to have faded in the wake of events ad nauseam. We are all aware of Senor Luigi. However, most folks can’t recall the full name of the guy that allegedly Luigi gunned down. Mission accomplished.
If the left doesn’t support compromise, I am dunzo’s. Life & politics both require compromise. It often makes navigating difficult, and in many cases, decisions are made that may not satisfy everyone’s interest. So be it. The idea that there is a mandatory acceptance of one because one simply exists and should be included is farcical and an idea of pure whimsy. I’m definitely not saying that we as a culture should not try to be as welcoming, encouraging and inclusive as on a whole, we can be. Just saying this. Not everyone makes the cut and because one is not acknowledged for what they so desperately desire, that doesn’t make that non acknowledgement an inverse weapon of negativity. I am really tip toe-ing around now. I should probably stop commenting right about now. I’ll abide.
