Sadly i cant learn to drive and my parents dont have a extra car to teach me how to drive. I do have to look after my parents alot which is fine.

So in conclusion i cant drive yet.

Not sure if this goes here or not?

Ive played a little bit of mmorpgs back int he day, that stars wars one to be exact, which felt more like walking sim more than anything. Im considering picking up old school runescape but im not sure if its good choice or not? What mmorpg that is free would you like to suggest to me a beginner?

Im going to rant a tad bit, but i could use some advice.

I cant really get a job because i cant drive and there are no buses (not like i could afford a bus anyways). I also have to stay at home with family because they have health issues and im paranoid. I want to be self employed but honestly im not sure. IM not even sure what i could do for self employed sense im broke and a young adult. I would likely be better off with a job but i cant go out and get one. Its like i want a hobby but everything i want to do requires money or something of that nature.

My biggest problem right now it picking a linux destitution or os. There's so many how do i choose?

Also if anyone is wondering this machine is a overpriced prebuild i got because my parents forced me to pick a prebuild instead of building a pc.

So i have a gaming desktop that not the best or the newest. What takes up most of my drive space is games, updates, and software's. Im wondering if i should switch to linux and if linux will improve any performance for my main machine? If you believe i should switch what os should i go with or why or why not should i switch?

I mostly game and do mess with ollama/ai tools because i think that's cool. I want to do more things in the future but that might beyond my drive space?

What would you advise?

I figured in a way...?

Im wondering what games beside doom and classic arcade games like pong, can run on any sort of device and what the limitations are? everyone says will it run doom? but what others games have the same support doom has?

Im not sure if this post goes here but ill start here.

You may not know this but i have autism and dyslexia. I recently got out of highschool but im not quite sure what to do with my life, ideas are hard sometimes. I do have a few ideas but they woudent be beneficial in the long run.

Do i find a hobby, get a job, go to collage, there's so much im not sure where to start or what to stick with?

I hate how capcut has gotten to. Ive tried davcihi resolve but i find it isint as easy as capcut. I want to try a open source video editor for my linux mint laptop that is really free and so easy even a child could learn it.

Im up for suggestions or a change of my mindset.

But im broke which is why i want to pirate, Do i just use a bunch of free trials?

Like if i were to use lemmy almost everyday or post in community's would that annoy people or is it ok? I had a reddit addiction very bad and im trying to replace it with lemmy....

Thoughts?

I know this is a dumb question... But i cant really aford a vpn like at all, is it possible to torrent without using a vpn in the USA or will i get in some trouble and go to jail if i torrent without a vpn?

The reason i cant get a vpn is because im just broke and im young enough to live with family so i cant really get a job.

So i want to achieve many types of hobbies. For the longest time ive wanted to make games but im honestly unsure where to start, what tools to pick up, and what to learn especially sense i want to attempt to learn for free without having to pay for anything.

Ive been told gamedev is like learning a new language in a way. I could use a point in a starting direction if possible.

I also have a dumb question but i cant really make out a different between the definitions of coding and programming, what is the difference if any?

I would like to make youtube videos to learn from and to gain experience. I've thought about movie recaps but i was told its overdone or done too much. What im most afraid of is possible burnout.

But what do you think or advise?

I somehow have a bunch of blank cd and dvds that i got from thrift stores and parents. There good for some linux os's but besides that im not sure what else to put on them or do with them. I would like to create a sort of binder for rainy days with various media but im stumped.

Im asking what type of media i should put on theses dvds/cds. I would do music but im not the biggest music fan sadly.
