I think it depends on what people make of it. Forums existed well before Reddit and Lemmy can scratch that itch. But so far a lot of the discussion has focused on Reddit and if real content doesn't replace it then Lemmy probably will fade away.

Also, devs can make a difference. If the experience gets better both on web amd mobile then it will help.

Magic, card tricks, and judo. I didnt participate much but I'd love to see what they would be like in the Fediverse

I've played with Mastadon a bit in the past but not much. I didn't know you could comment with that account. Interesting...

So I'm a reddit refugee and downloaded Jerboa on Android. It took me forever to figure out how to login. I'm posting this in the hopes that it helps others.

On the Home screen I had to click on the top left hamburger menu. Them there was a down arrow in the upper right that I had to press before it said Add Login.

I hope this helps anyone with a similar issue.
