Anything ever come of this creep and his "favorite magic tricks" usb drive?

I think they mean "Verhältnis" (google says 'relationship') doesn't really mean ratio, but ratio is what we use in english.

It's not just toilet regulations though, its like volume of water from showers, sinks, and shitting that is much higher for residential buildings. Even assuming that no one has in unit laundry.

Some might argue it requires a terminal level of brain worms to understand what is being said with rule 8. But I for one find beauty in this exactly level and flavor of petty, and I come to the fediverse for it.

Honestly I think if there is a hope for greater detach from "The Cloud" more broadly, it's a testament to nextcloud that folks that don't even know enough to know what DB they are running are able to run a server, and host things well enough to consider themselves users.

shhhThis statement brought was to you by someone that set up nextcloud and had no clue what DB it was using.

One could argue if all she increases is distance away from OP, then there is a form of vectorized movement in polar coordinates with OP at 0 and his GF moving in the direction of maximizing the space between them 🤔

In fairness like half the random meme posts are PugJesus because how terminal online they are.

Idk, there was that interview he said the rebels were the viet cong, that the soviets had more freedom in what sorts of films they could get greenlit because you didn't have to pitch it on how much money it would make, and I believe in it said that he was trying to show the decay into fascism under GHW Bush. The dude is not a good director, and can't write dialog or people for shit, but I think he's knows what he's doing generally.

So if there are still servers, that sounds like it's not peer to peer, right?

I am reading up on Solana a bit, but not really finding answers as to what functionally makes it a better protocol. Naturally being a blockchain most of the information is focused on trustless monetary transactions and all the scams that been involved. For what is novel I'm seeing a "leader" server that validates the order of events that as a role can be passed between theoretical similar servers of sufficient hardware? I guess I don't think of super strict chronology as a desperate need for social media. So is the benefit you're looking for in the smart contracts?

Further I would argue that it is underutilized, but the idea of seamless inter-connectivity is a super power tool of a set of social media platforms. And ultimately there is nothing that forces a particular platform to limit itself to the bounds of mastodon, the bones of activity pub are incredible versatile by my understanding. What do you see as the good stuff that is stripped away?

Federation is decentralized. I feel like some major structural issues would exist with p2p, like would I only see posts from people actively online while I am online?

What other protocols do you think would suit the needs of a decentralized social media better?
