MODERATORS

Hi. Been awhile since I'd been able to check in due to significant amount of real life issues. As a result I'm not able to moderate as much as I used to nowadays. Since there's only two mods including myself I decided to post a call to see if anyone's up for moderating the page.

Main requirements are reading and understanding the community guidelines and being on lemmy pretty often and willing to moderate when a report comes in. If anyone knows and is willing to do an ownership transfer then I'm open for that too though I'm fuzzy on how that's handled for Lemmy.

... I realize sure, some things are good, some aren't, struggles are here, and I'm even not one of those having it the worst.

But I just wanted to write something down for all those of you that are younger : I can't, sadly, know when or how it ends, or even if it will at all in certain cases, but you know all this self-criticism, self-flagellation, constant lack of self-confidence?

Well, there may be a time when it all ends. Completely, totally, entirely, and just like that, you realize you're free from it, probably forever.

It doesn't make everything ok, doesn't heal everything and won't change anything to your denied need for justice and anger against subservience or all the evils people, or you, live through.

But this whole thing about self harming, physically or psychologically? THIS may end. It ended for me like 6 or 7 years ago, probably to never come back. Nothing particular happened, you know. Stuff just healed. It took time but it did happen in the end.

And I dearly wish it will for you all too.

Cheers and take care.

Brandtbert J. Brudenell, 19, was arrested Thursday evening at TPC Scottsdale and booked on suspicion of criminal trespassing, refusing to provide his name truthfully, and underage alcohol consumption, Scottsdale police told The Arizona Republic. According to police, Brudenell was found walking near the 2nd hole after the course had closed and refused to leave. Security personnel reported that he attempted to flee from them before officers arrived.

Police told The Arizona Republic that Brudenell is the man seen in a viral video filmed at the Phoenix Open. Brudenell lost his job after the video gained attention online. The video shows him talking about his belief that Mexicans at the border should have their throats "sliced," shortly after saying "Heil Hitler" and appearing to mimic white supremacist rhetoric.
