Many are quitting TikTok even though it’s back because of how egregious this is. I think they are absolutely right and more should follow.

heads up the “share > copy link” in tiktok can expose your tiktok username because it tries to get you to follow people who send you videos (like it assumes you are friends). i would edit to use the link below instead if thats at all a concern for you:
