Looks like we got another influx of Reddit refugees. Welcome all. Have a good time.

This is a daily post for “casual” conversation. If you want to post or talk about something non autism related this is where to do it. For example if you want to info dump about your special interest but it doesn’t fall into “autism related” then you can post it here in the comments. All other rules are still active, be respectful to each other.

I just came back home from a skating trip on a nearby lake, and I'm quite exhausted now. I recently bought a set of nordic skates, I've wanted to get into winter sports more and skating was something I really liked as a kid. It's really nice when the conditions are good! Now the ice was pretty rough but I'm hoping that this mild winter with little snow means that the conditions for skating will be great in a little while.

That's great to hear! I got back into ice skating too this year. I forgot about the joy it brings and how much I loved this as a kid, lots of good memories skating on the lakes.

I'll get some rollerskates once temperatures allow for it as a summer alternative.

That's awesome! I tried ice skating once as a teenager. It, it didn't go well.
