Cant imagine making 30 k a year and having to pay even 1600 in taxes. This is saying it will increase that much.

This CAN work for a time but eventually they will catch up with you. I know quite a few people that stopped paying, only to get surprised by the IRS years later and owe back taxes, fines and interests. They can make your life hell, put liens on your home, garnish your wages, all kinds of special tortures. If you are serious about this, no joke, I recommend leaving the country and planning on never returning.
But if EVERYONE stopped paying….
Sure, just like if everyone voted Democrat you wouldn't have this problem. If you manage to convince everyone not to pay taxes, I'll be extremely impressed.
Ahhh… but bullshit protests in front of capital buildings are surely moving mountains!
Not paying taxes is action. It has consequences and damages. Yelling while holding signs does nothing.
But look at all the people supporting that! Why? Because it takes little effort and even less risk. But that’s where we are now. Not to be bothered if it means people have to take a risk.
But man… maybe all the “anarchists” around with puffed out chests, need to take a seat.
