KEY POINTS

  • President Donald Trump said he was not upset with national security advisor Michael Waltz for reportedly adding a journalist to a Signal thread with top officials discussing military plans.
  • “Michael Waltz has learned a lesson, and he’s a good man,” Trump told NBC News in a phone call when asked about the bombshell revelation published in The Atlantic a day earlier.
  • The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg revealed that he had been added by to a Signal thread called the “Houthi PC small group.”

Yes, these are the key points. DO YOUR FUCKING JOB. Like why this happened.

I very much want to know why such conversations by government officials are taking place on unsanctioned platforms.

(I know why, but i want them to say they don't want to FOIA)
