From what I know, as with any country, they'd have to get certification by relevant medical association. It's easier coming from certain countries than from others.

Also some provinces claim to have been trying to make it easier for healthcare professionals, unfortunately I don't know enough about it to tell whether there is any genuine truth to it or not, since politicians just get to state anything and not follow through or be accountable.

I vaguely recall this in relation to BC/NDP but don't know if they made actual progress, anybody know more?
