Jesus was a Capricorn
He ate organic food
He believed in love and peace
And never wore no shoes

Long hair, beard and sandals
And a funky bunch of friends
Reckon we'd just nail him up
If he came down again

'Cause everybody's gotta have somebody to look down on
Who they can feel better than at any time they please
Someone doin' somethin' dirty decent folks can frown on
If you can't find nobody else, then help yourself to me

He would probably be crucified at a democratic rally as well, lol

What? No. Rashida Talib is literally a palestinian house representative who has been saying all this for awhile now. Dems can and should be doing more, but both sides aren't the same here. If she somehow took the stage at CPAC she would without question be attacked.

Feed the hungry, house the homeless and welcome the stranger.

Dude, just stop. This took two seconds to find and frankly it's a weird hill to die on. It's okay for a hot take to be wrong, just accept it and think of this moment before your post your next.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Matthew 15:18-19

But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.

Matthew 5:32

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 18:21-22

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

It's absolute folly to claim that Jesus would be totally cool with either side of the American political debate - democrat or republican. Both these sides want to follow themselves and their heart, and not what's right.

Matthew 16:24-25

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Even though I am a Christian and would like to emulate Jesus, I wouldn't even dare claim Jesus would be on my side in terms of opinions. We should strive to be on Jesus' side.
