Eh, we could always buy the extra soybeans to feed hungry people here and abroad through the many welfare programs that… definitely still exist… right?

And do what with it? There is a reason why it's huge in china and Asia, it's a staple. Most people don't like soybeans because it's not eco friendly crop. Also soybean isn't consumed by the majority of people, there better foods out there
