All images suddenly open in external browser (sopuli.xyz)

I was originally going to post about blurred NSFW images opening in external browser unless you first open the comments where the thumbnail is visible and tapping on that then opens the image internally. But this issue has recently spread to cover pretty much every image. The images have URLs like https://sopuli.xyz/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Flemmy.world%2Fpictrs%2Fimage%2Fc29a7ebe-f747-4518-8e53-62a552145b5f.jpeg which seems to make Connect think it's an entire website that should be opened externally. Is it a Lemmy thing, my home instance sopuli.xyz thing or a Connect thing?

Note that I did try disabling the external browser in the settings but actual websites opening internally was a horrible reminder about why we don't do that.

Both halves open externally. But I'm still getting thumbnails, not the pair of buttons.

Inline images also don't load. I'm definitely not complaining about that. Ideally I'd want alt text to load, with the option to expand to image. I'll happily take a bug preventing loading over Lemmy's default.

Try updating the app from the app store. I'm on the beta testing version, so I'm not sure which is the latest official version, but I notice that it has had several updates the last few days. It made my dual button issue disappear just now.
