but then you get bad trust factor (invisible ranking for how nice you are) so you'll get matched with other shitty people in future :(

Hello. Had a nice 3 weeks since we last spoke?

Maybe the nice ranking is like ELO. Yknow like if you lose against an expert player you don't lose as many points because it's expected. Maybe if you abuse a racist you don't lose nice points.
