Can we donate to the kid?
There was one set-up by the NAACP, however the family has turned it down. They are actually pursuing charges as the woman followed their 5 year old while yelling slurs at him, and he is autistic. She claims he stole her diaper bag, however other witnesses have said this wasn't true, he began playing with toys that were out, and, apparently owned by her, which prompted her to do this. Following the kid, while doing this likely makes this harassment. In this particular case harassment of a 5 year old, special needs kid, and because of the slurs, a hate crime enhancer to the penalties. So she could actually be in serious legal trouble. The family said they would much rather pursue criminal charges. Also, the man who recorded, and outed, her was charged with some sort of sexual crime, i think, involving a minor. The case however was dropped in a manner that means that the case was so bad it wasn't even worth the time to consider it. So he didn't do it. He is also being harassed, and this may turn into a civil lawsuit based on things the lady said online that may cross into incitement.
However, there is an NAACP fundraiser they do support, that will go to legal costs, instead of their general income.

Around here the generally accepted rule is that toys lying around on the playground can be used by all kids. They just have to return them. Is this different in the US?
If someone is a racist ass racist it seems to be.
