Really? I just read an article about a huge new defence system they're going to build for their mainland, with Space Force at the head of it, costing over $540,000,000,000 over 20 years and taking up a significant ongoing chunk of their entire military budget.
How can this be true and they're also downsizing...
No doubt they just outsource the administration of the program to SpaceX.
Why have a government when your donors can get rich, instead?
