its probably selective, if boeing as a program, probably need said experience, or significant academic achievments, including grades. Also if you been to a CC that have "ivy league level"(they gave a reason why they had these classes) classes your gpa will suffer, as many people arnt expected that level of difficulty to a pre-universitiy college.

That is particular program was funded by the US government with requirements to hire former military and disadvantaged people. These were people who would have otherwise slipped through the cracks.
