Vice President JD Vance’s Bluesky account was suspended within minutes of him joining the platform. His posts criticized medical treatments for transgender youth and claimed pharmaceutical influence over healthcare decisions.

Remember, the likes of Vance aren't stupid, they know the shit they say isn't real but it riles their base up and creates enough anger that their base will ignore all the shit the republicans get up to.
More than that, it causes a knee jerk reaction from many liberals as well, and they end up defending a practice that is relevant to about 1% of voters, and isn't that important to a very significant number of voters. So Ds waste a LOT of time defending a subject that isn't very important to most people, instead of the issues they should be focused on, which will attract voters, like Medicare 4 All, or Student Loan Reform, etc.
