Do you assume that local AI models in Firefox will NOT send any telemetry data as the default setting?

Yes. I will assume that unless it is found to be untrue, because I don't think making up things to be upset about is productive.

It has been a while since I installed Firefox, which I use daily, but I don't remember turning on any of the settings under Data Collection in Settings. Did I choose those and just forgot, or where they on and I needed to know to turn them off?

Then complain about that, a real thing, instead of making vague statements about how they don't pass your vibe check by adding LLM stuff.

That is literally the thing my first post was referring to:

The AI may run locally, but is it keeping all of the interactions local too?

The second sentence about AI was explaining why I had that concern.
