You mean feddit.de, or did .org also get abandoned?
Yeah sorry, it was feddit.de. I just did a quick dive into the rabbit hole. Apparently the admin's username was wintermute (later changed to necromancer). Looks like they modded a bunch of conservative communities around here. Then went on a vacation to a south asian country then disappeared without a trace. Now feddit.org has a rule for all admins to not travel to south asian countries.
I'm so confused how this is the takeaway for whoever is running feddit.org.
Like, did the admin fucking die or something? Or worse, did they start espousing leftist ideals (/s)?
Seriously, what happened to them? I made an account like a year ago or so (during the Reddit API incident). And when I wanted to start over again today feddit.de was down.
They went on extended vacation to DPRK.
