Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Difference is they can't afford to act as irrationally as he does. I reckon a meth head with access to billions of dollars and heads of state would be even more out of control than this. Let's be grateful he's not a meth head. Yet.

As far as we know. Ketamine isn't exactly considered a light substance to abuse.

There is some good news, however. Long-term abuse of ketamine is lethal.

Just get out there and persuade him to use more!

I just think that it's sad that the world is in the hands of morons like this, rather than men like Mr. Rogers.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Men like Mr Rogers don't crave power, though. To quote Douglas Adams:

“The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them. To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”

Men like Bob Ross can help with that though, because he had the capability of being fierce if needs be, having been a former USAF drill sergeant.
