Several of my friends and family got married within about 5 years of each other. It's also well known that I rarely drink and have no issues with being the designated driver. We also had a pretty nice minivan at the time that could technically seat 8, but has been known to pack in 2-3 more of needed. So I was invited to every bachelor party. Right at first there were 3 all in the same 12 month period, and at some point I started seeing someone at my local grocery store that I recognized, but was not sure where from. It wasn't until one of the following trips that I passed him face to face in an isle and gave him a nod and a wave that I realized where from. The moment the guy looked up at me and saw me wave, he grabbed his kid and pulled him away like I was about to attack, which perplexed the shit out of me until it clicked that he worked at the club as a manager and bouncer.
