I asked a question that you didn't answer so I made an assumption because in no way I'm reading all that text when the question I asked could have been answered in 1 line. Then you insult me because you didn't answer the question.
Yeah.... Okay. I don't hold an opinion on those people, I'm from Spain. They asked you about eastern leftists and you answered with support for national healthcare, which then I replied that Europe also has that.
It's you who did the separation of western and Easter leftism by national healthcare. Please don't lump all those opinions about those people on me, thanks.
If you really were from Spain, how would you not recognize those names? You look a lot like a troll to me, trying to fake that you're from EU.
Not knowing such elementary information and then still being active in a group like this isn't really credible.
It's not as elementary information as you think it is. You really overestimate how on top of international politics the general populace of each individual country is. Knowing the name of Feijóo is way more relevant to a Spaniard than the name of a leftist UK party member or the other dude from Greece.
Also, as mentioned in a further comment, I did recognise the names but I didn't make the effort to remember who they were exactly.
It's pretty rude to come to a comment chain to accuse me of a troll when by the end of the chain the other user and I reached an agreement.
Nor zera zu ni espainiarra ez naizela esateko?
While I admit I could have been a little bit less confrontational (my bad on that), I believe I did provide justified examples around why I have a skeptical attitude towards western leftists.
I cited both major political figures (not only in English-speaking countries) and academics.
I also have to admit that I lied, I did recognize the names but put no effort to remember. In any case, sure, I agree that European prominent leftist political movements are a little bit iffy on the war side. In general they think or say that any violence is bad, and that Ghandi's strategy works every time. I agree that that's a way too idyllic point of view but again, that was not the point I wanted to clarify in this comment chain xD
it was kind of a pedantic point so feel free to disregard it, have a nice day.
