What are you talking about? Schumacher retired from Ferrari in 2006, Hamilton came into F1 in 2007. And when Schumacher came back with Mercedes, he only had 1 Podium before retiring again.
My memory must be going. i confused him with Kimi raikkonen? I'm not even sure now lol.

This is F1 in a nutshell. The pool of drivers are all pretty good but they don't really matter. Its all about the engineering and money.
I don't disagree, but his teammate did put it on pole. The driver has some impact.
