I listened to a podcast about his autobiography apparently he came across as an insufferable twat
What made you think that? Just curious, I am not surprised.
What I heard about his autobiography was that he was comparing himself to all these high caliber actors and would rather have keanu reeves die instead of river phoenix.
I remember that! Just this random nastiness
For a period in the 90s, that would be like saying "why did Philip Seymour Hoffman have to die, why couldn't it be Gal Godot?"
