The women's stuff drama was enough for me to block a bunch of butthurt men preemptively
There was drama?
Yeah, there was a lot of negative comments flying around and post from somebody in the community to ask lemmy that was something like 'why do some men find it so hard to understand they aren't wanted in a women's only space' and that obviously dug up a bunch of misogyny and 'not all men' comments.
I missed this. Probably why they moved instance. Was proud of hosting them for the short while. Was a bit bummed out when they moved on, but I understand.

PieFed offers more control for this kind of situation, I think otherwise they would have stayed on your instance

Can't imagine why a public airing of Group A's complaints against Group B sees a lot of Group B showing up.
