You can walk around the interior, customize the interior and seamlessly EVA.

This goes beyond anything I could have expected.

I wonder if this applies to all current starship designs or only the specific class.

Only the new class of ships, Corvettes. There are some YouTubers streaming it. Corvette building looks like ship building in Starfield.
