The dialogue is shit because Lucas is bad at writing dialogue. But if you watch the Clone Wars and Rebels, ~~those~~ [this] concept~~s~~ ~~are~~ [is] explored in much greater detail.

Lucas didn't write for Clone Wars and Rebels. You're not exploring his bad dialogue if you're watching other people's dialogue.
