I'm scared this might be fake. The way the color fades out is not natural, its a very smooth fad, while if it was differently colored fur the fade changes depending on the grain of the fur.

It could've been taken while the cat was moving causing the demonising algorithm to smooth out the details.

I suppose it could. They did have a couple of other pics from different angles that I didn’t use, but who knows.
