The Book of Boba Fett

Disney's response to years of years of active lobbying to "let the wookipedia editors contribute to the canon".

Or at least, that's the only explanation that makes sense to me. That show was an incredible contribution to the lore and such a slog to sit through. Even the show got bored halfway through and it went back to being The Mandalorian for a few episodes, just to keep you watching.

Saw the whole thing and didn't even remember this scene with the ship getting swallowed?

*Edit: just rewatched the scene. Dumb. Guess I wiped most this show from my brain

Yep 4th episode, might have been blocked out because the reveal that Fennec Shand was rebuilt by the fucking Space Vespa squad sure caused me some synaptic damage.

You mean "the mods" and their surgeon "the modifier" played by some musician who goes by "thundercat". Whoo boy.

"What's going to resonate with the fans, I know, jokes about Mod Culture!" I just have no idea what anyone was thinking with that one.

Y'know what would fit in with the general dreary nature of Tatooine, a known back water planet at the edge of the outer rim where literally nothing good happens and is just a depressing mess? COLORFUL VESPA SPEADERS that have never come up in any other scenes ever before.

lol I haven't been keeping up with anything Star Wars lately, so I had to look those up, and holy shit they look out of place. It's like the goddamn Power Rangers rolled up to Tatooine.
