Elected him democratically? Lmao

Let me know how that 'popular vote' that barely includes half the population goes next time.

That's how democracy in US works. It's a bit of a shitty democracy for historical reasons, but everyone knew that before the election, it's not a secret. That's not even the biggest problem with it. It is a democracy nonetheless.

Your argument is: 'It's a different flavor of democracy...?' That's some Republic of North Korea level denialism.

No, no it isn't, I don't even know what you might mean by that.
The democracy in America implemented a bit shitty. It's a forced two party system, not everyone's vote has the same power, the casting of the vote is convoluted for no reason. It's not the best way to implement a democracy, no doubts about it. Not the worst though, the first democracy ever was only available to land owning males, so compared to that the current American is outright inclusive.
But it's not some kind of new system, it was around longer than all of the voters were alive, so everyone should know how it works and how to use it. All Americans participated and made the choice. Using action or inaction, collectively, democratically, they elected Trump.
