No fuck that. Honey comes in glass jars from a local beekeeper. Like this

End of debate.

Haha GmbH Honig. Raus mit diesem korpo Scheiß.

[–] smiletolerantly@awful.systems 8 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The fuck? Das ist das Glas, was ich bei unserem 86 Jahre alten Imker alle paar Wochen hole. Die Bienen sind seit 3 Generationen in der Familie.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

verkauft er seinen Honig vielleicht an die Firma?

[–] smiletolerantly@awful.systems 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Kann ja sein

Ist aber nicht der einzige lokale Imker, bei dem mit dieses Label untergekommen ist.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Möglicherweise verkaufen alle gleich.

[–] smiletolerantly@awful.systems 3 points 3 weeks ago

Ja, worauf ich raus will: bei mir ist das Glas gleichbedeutend mit "lokaler Kleinimker'

solution: sell bear-shaped jars to local beekeepers

[–] darksiderbun@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

I’ve totally bought local honey packaged in bear-jars. I don’t understand where all this hate is coming from

NO YOU GO TO HELL.

Sorry. I like the bears.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Oh dang they're a pope when they tell you to go to hell I think that makes you a bizarrosaint.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Solution, keep bees in cellar. Train them to attack your enemies, but get the wrong bees so all they do is land and walk around, tickling/itching the bejesuschristsuperstar out of the victim after a good terror laugh.

Everything should come in mason jars. They are durable, reusable, accessible and timeless.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Don't mason jars have to have a clasp. Otherwise it's just a jar.

[–] creation7758@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 weeks ago

Just a general jar then. Mason doesn't have a patent on it anymore and anyone can use it.

[–] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 1 points 3 weeks ago

Isn't the seal on them single use though? I got kilner clip top jars instead as the rubber ring on them should last longer before replacing. Got 2L of apple chutney in them so far and making more today.

I usually get my honey in a mason jar with a hand written label...
