Actual scorched earth would be for Comey to say he charged Hillary in 2016 right before the election so that Trump would win.
This is the only right thing for him to do. Fuck him. I'm curious what he did to get on trumps bad side when I see him as only have helped Trump.
Masterful would be pulling out the message from Trump telling him to do that so that it would prejudice the voters. ..and then a series of email detailing a story where Trump would threaten him to out him for one crime and making him commit a worse crime.
Even then it wouldn't sway the Johnsons and Greenes of the world, but it'd make for better reality TV than the Apprentice ever was.
I don't think his persona allows for that. He seems to consider himself innocent in all this.
Most people do.
Clinton caused Clinton to lose.
It can be two things.
No it can't, anyone that was willing to vote for Clinton would not have had their mind changed with the information released by Comey.
Except that if you look at polls prior to and immediately after Comey declaring he was investigating Clinton, there was a massive swing away from Clinton. So you're wrong.

Her failures do not excuse republican corruption.
No one ever implied any such thing
Edit: removed my own comment because I misread the conversation.
