TikTokers are debating their Trump-supporting parents and sounding off about what it’s like to have parents who’ve gotten sucked into the MAGA cult. These Tiktokers are exposing multiple trends that have emerged among pro-Trump boomers that shed light on why they can’t get them to leave the MAGA cult. This video echos plenty in our families lives. Sometimes it's hard to have a meaningful conversation with the now brainwashed boomer.

My wife's stepdad exhibits this oppositional defiant behavior stuff and he just believes everything on FOX. I see it in the 5 year olds around where I live who have helicopter parents and the children just do the opposite to what they know is right.

I think with many boomers there’s not enough neuro-plasticity in their brains to get them to think rationally, including certain "free world" leaders.
