These people are un-teachable. This kind of immunity to learning from experience should be considered a mental illness.

Even unteachable is somehow too charitable. In the middle of eating the shit he is spoon feeding them, they believe 100% that he has nothing to do with it and doesn't even know about it. These people are absolutely braindead.

I listened to an interview with a Trump-voting farmer who was suffering because of tariffs. She knew tariffs were the problem. She stated repeatedly that tariffs were the problem. She could not bring herself to the logical endpoint in that ultimately this was Trump's fault, instead blaming "the government" for it. They are not ever going to be productive members of society unless they can be deprogrammed from the cult.
The mental gymnastics they're engaging in to separate "This company" from Trump himself, when the latter is actively promoting them on TV, just like he did with the sneakers sold by yet another opaque shell company with a complex ownership structure in the Carribean.
So granny doesn't get a gift for her birthday, and the little shits get to laugh about how they got granny steaming about something 'not real' like this. I think I found my new fun hobby for fucking with my maga family members.
