This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

If you can make a product with our without animals and it tastes the same, is it a bad thing to prefer the vegan option? I don't tell anybody what to eat, if you like to eat meat I am fine with that.

I usually get kosher/halal Haribo when I see them.

You do you. And that's totally okay.
As for me: I couldnt care less as long as it tastes good.

But I would also accept synthetic gelatine based gummy bears as well.

Does it taste the same? I've tried Katjes and I'm pretty sure it tastes different. I will of course agree with you that for two equivalent tasting products, it's better to prefer the vegan option even as a meat eater.

Tbh, as a vegetarian I haven't eaten Haribo a lot in the last 10 years, rarely one of those small gift gold bear packages. I think they taste kind of boring, on the other hand they wake up childhood memories. The selection of Katjes is super large in Germany with a lot of variation. I like them a lot and don't find them particularly better or worse than Haribo. If you find them I would say try them out!

Oh they only have like one or two flavours here in Estonia. If they even still sell 'em. It's sad.
