They're using the wrong symbol: the rune ᛋ is not a lightning bolt ⚡. That old Norse symbol for sun ☀️ inspired theirs.
Nazis need to get their symbols right. We also need to defend our thunderbolts ⚡ from confusion.
So the ss were or weren't the sun suns? We have to get this sorted.
It's pronounced [s] or [z], so ᛋᛋ can stand for SS. German mystic revisionism associated it with victory instead of sun.
