I certainly thinks illegal drugs have no benefits for society
I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but a lot of the world's major cities and economies would grind to a halt if you magically removed cocaine and speed from the planet. Hallucinagens have aided in scientific discovery by helping people make connections they would never otherwise think of, not to mention the benefits of microdosing for mental health reasons. Do you believe art and music benefit society? Well, I guarantee your favourite artists have likely used "illegal" inspiration.
Does marijuana benefit some states but not others due to varying legality? Do legal drugs necessarily benefit society? What is the societal benefit of alcohol, or nicotine?
Whether a drug is legal or illegal is largely due to political posturing and nothing to do with societal or health benefits. And before you think I'm pro legalising everything, I believe highly addictive and debilitating drugs are the ones that should illegal or at least controlled. Ice, heroine, and (currently legal) opioid-based pain killers to name a few.
Na bs. Are you seriously arguing that society need his individual to take substance that damage their health to make profit is a good argument ? That artist being on drug is a gift to society ? The famous LSD help researcher 🤣🤣🤣

His argument was drugs are necessary because without the economy will stop. I reply do you think it s a good argument since thoses drugs have negative health effect. Do better and just read further than the first 2 word

To start, a state of altered consciousness to help consider different viewpoints when reflecting about the choices one has made in life and the how that affects the constitution of one's personality.

And by the way, if we're going to make drugs illegal in the way you want it, let's start with alcohol and nicotine, the worst of them all.
That's been tried before, by the way. It didn't go very well.
Still haven't give one benefit. Nicotine isn't bad tobacco is. Alcohol is consume since 3000 year and is recongnize as an art and see how everywhere it s heavily legislated And by far it s not the worst
As I said, the benefit is an altered consciousness and/or perception to provide new insight and avenues of introspection on one's being, life path, and composition of their ontology.
Alcoholism causes cancer, alcohol is the most easily abused drug, and the heavy legislation was even heavier in times past (it was banned outright during the prohibition era in the US) and had disastrous consequences for the public.
And I'm not even trying to argue to ban alcohol; statistically it is the "worst" societally by many metrics.
Your banal puritanism has been tried before.
